For the sector
The evidence base this sector has never had.
Advisory bodies, membership associations, quality assurance schemes and everyone who represents, guides or speaks up for educational visits, outdoor learning and co-curricular activity have always worked with the same problem. There has never been a shared, independent, sector-wide evidence base to point to.
Guidance gets written, cases get made and campaigns get run, but too often on the back of anecdote, case studies or whatever data a single organisation happens to hold. Triptelligence® changes that. It is a free, independent platform that gives the whole sector, not just one part of it, a live, representative picture of what is really happening in schools.
What's in it for you?
A shared, independent evidence base Data that belongs to the sector as a whole, not to any single organisation, provider or membership body. Something everyone can point to and trust.
Real numbers for real advocacy When you're making the case for enrichment, responding to a consultation or briefing on the value of educational visits, you can do it with live UK-wide data behind you rather than a handful of examples.
Visibility of trends as they happen See how activity levels, visit types and barriers to travel are shifting across the sector, not just within your own membership or network.
Built by people who know the sector Triptelligence® is powered by EVOLVE Advice, which has worked alongside schools, trusts and local authorities on educational visits safety and compliance for years. This isn't a platform built by outsiders guessing at what matters.
Independent and free to engage with There's no cost to sector bodies to use the insight that comes out of Triptelligence®, and no student data is ever collected.
How does Triptelligence® work?
School staff, including teachers, EVCs, visit leaders, coaches and co-curricular leads, complete short, regular check-ins through the app.
Their answers are aggregated and anonymised, building a continuously updated dataset covering visits, residentials, sports fixtures, clubs and more.
That dataset is turned into benchmarks and insight, available to schools for free and to providers through paid dashboards.
Sector bodies, advisers and policymakers gain access to a live evidence base they can use to inform guidance, respond to consultations and make the case for this part of a child's education.
Why it matters now
The legislative and policy landscape around educational visits and enrichment is shifting. Debates on residentials and outdoor learning are live across the UK, and the introduction of enrichment as part of a broad and balanced curriculum has brought fresh scrutiny to this space.
For years, the people making the case for this sector, whether that's through guidance, campaigning, lobbying or policy engagement, have had to do it without a reliable, independent dataset behind them. Triptelligence® gives the sector that evidence base for the first time, built from real, continuous contributions rather than a one-off survey or a single organisation's members.
-
Yes. Triptelligence® is powered by EVOLVE Advice, but the data itself is aggregated and anonymised, and is not tied to or filtered through any single membership body, provider or association. It's built to represent the sector as a whole.
-
No. We will work closely with the sector to provide access to sector-level insight and joint reporting. Triptelligence® is funded through paid provider dashboards on the commercial side of the platform, not by charging the bodies who represent and guide the sector.
-
School staff complete short check-ins covering the trips, fixtures and activities their schools run. No student data is collected at any stage, and all data is anonymised and aggregated before it's used in any insight or report.
-
From informing guidance and policy positions, to backing up a consultation response, to simply understanding trends across the sector rather than within your own network. If better evidence would help your organisation make its case, this is built for you.
